Bitcoin [BTC] price dropped below a crucial support level on 1 March as traders remained skeptical about the sustainability of the recent rally. The world’s largest cryptocurrency by market capitalization fell through the $30k zone after a brief period of consolidation.

Bitcoin price action hinted at a local top forming at $33.4k. A failure to hold the key support level at $29.3k could lead to further losses. BTC price dropped to lows of $26.2k in February 2023.

A shorter time frame revealed a bullish breakout from a descending trendline. However, the daily chart showed the formation of a lower high, suggesting that the uptrend could be coming to an end.
