Bitcoin (BTC) Price Prediction: Will BTC Take a Dip Below $38,000?

Bitcoin enthusiasts and investors might face a golden opportunity if they consider buying below $38,000.

Bitcoin (BTC) Price Prediction: Will BTC Take a Dip Below $38,000?

Bitcoin (BTC) price seems to have found support at a key moving average, sparking optimism among prospective buyers.

After a global market downturn drove BTC price down to $49,000 on August 5, a surprising recovery followed. However, bulls’ inability to fully capitalize on the rebound has raised concerns. But some analysts view this phase as a golden period to enter the market at lower prices.

As BTC price continues to fluctuate, several experts have shared their insights on the next potential buying opportunity.

Blockstream CEO Adam Back highlighted an interesting observation in his recent tweet.

According to Back, Bitcoin’s 200-week moving average (200MA) has now surpassed the $38,000 level. This technical indicator, which averages out Bitcoin's closing price over the past 200 weeks, has acted as a crucial price floor throughout Bitcoin's history. Notably, Bitcoin has never dipped below its 200MA, making it a critical gauge of the price stability.

This observation suggests that a BTC price drop below $38,000 is an unlikely scenario. Hence, prospective buyers may be eyeing this price level as a potential buying opportunity.

However, it's important to note that technical analysis alone does not guarantee future price movements and should be used in conjunction with other analysis methods.

Prominent trader Mark Dow points out that Bitcoin’s recent peakдостижение of $73,737 in March, following the successful launch of Bitcoin exchange-traded funds (ETFs), has seen a correction of 17.5%. This adjustment highlights some ongoing bearish pressure.

Furthermore, the market is expected to face potential selling pressure from Mt. Gox repayments, as the now-defunct exchange begins transferring large amounts of funds to Bitstamp.

Additionally, JPMorgan has recently advised investors to be cautious of Bitcoin’s recent recovery, as they believe there are no immediate bullish catalysts for the cryptocurrency.
