Bitcoin (BTC) Price Prediction: Will Bitcoin (BTC) Hit $200,000 by the End of 2020?

With global markets battered by a perfect storm of macroeconomic woes, investors are becoming increasingly uneasy.

From rising tariffs and global tensions to recession fears, the investment landscape has grown bleak, leaving many to ponder: should we be worried about Bitcoin’s future?

Now, Bitcoin is one of the most lucrative investment assets of the last 15 years. In fact, data from CoinMarketCap indicates it has appreciated by more than 16 million percent over this period.

But it is also one of the most volatile, as evidenced by the recent 30% price crash between January and April this year.

A bulk of this was caused by the aggressive Trump tariff policies, geopolitical tensions, fears of rising inflation, and possible recession in the US and worldwide.

Recently, the FED announced that it wasn’t cutting down the benchmark interest rate. A few days earlier, the heightened India-Pakistan conflicts threatened to spill into a full-blown war and Israel announced plans to acquire and occupy the Gaza strip.

Not forgetting that some US Governors have been vetoing the idea of creation of Bitcoin reserves.

These are some of the negative macros that have continually caused volatile Bitcoin market crashes. Remember also the fact that leading crypto economies like China continue to implement outright digital currency bans. Others, like the EU, are still to acknowledge BTC as a payment, instead opting to create own digital currency – Digital Euro. And combined, they explain why some investors may be worried about Bitcoin’s Future.

Does Bitcoin Have a Future?

Yes, Bitcoin is not just one of the most promising but is also one of the most sustainable crypto projects out there. In fact, a myriad of analysts are confident that its prices will continue rising into the foreseeable future.

Our analysis, for example, shows that Bitcoin will possibly top the $200,000 mark by year-end before climbing further and peaking above $300,000 by 2030. The more optimistic experts like Michael Saylor and Eric Trump expect BTC to eventually hit $1 Million.

Among the factors guaranteeing Bitcoin’s future and ascension to these valuations include its proven resilience and growing institutional adoption.

Others include the improving regulatory clarity across the world, its integration into the global finance system as a payment method, and growing use cases including inclusion into national reserves.
