Aug 05, 2024 at 09:19 pm

Binance Pool has successfully announced the launch of its mining service for the KASPA (KAS) network. Binance Pool has officially launched the KASPA Network (KAS) mining service. Kaspa is a POW cryptocurrency that implements the GHOSTDAG protocol.

Binance Backs Particle Network as It Expands Its KASPA Mining Service

Binance Pool has announced the launch of its mining service for the Kaspa (KAS) network.

Binance Pool has officially launched the Kaspa Network (KAS) mining service. Kaspa is a proof-of-work cryptocurrency that implements the GHOSTDAG protocol. Binance previously launched KAS futures but did not launch KAS spot.

The Kaspa blockchain is known for its high transaction throughput and scalability, making it a popular network in the cryptocurrency landscape. With the addition of Kaspa mining to its platform, Binance Pool aims to provide miners with more options and potentially increase the network's hashrate.

In related news, Binance Futures has also launched a USDⓈ-M KAS perpetual contract with up to 50x leverage. This product enables traders to gain exposure to KAS's price movements.

This integration of Kaspa mining with Binance will be a turning point for the KAS token. It will increase market exposure and trading volume, which will be beneficial to both miners and traders.

Binance's entry into Kaspa mining is a significant move, as it strengthens its presence as a comprehensive cryptocurrency platform. Moreover, Binance has added a unique touch to this integration by combining traditional proof-of-work mining with innovative trading products.

Binance Backs Particle Network

This integration of Kaspa mining follows another major announcement by Binance Labs. Binance Labs has invested in Particle Network. This move is part of Binance's strategy to tackle liquidity fragmentation and user accessibility.

As previously reported, Particle Network is a modular Layer-1 blockchain built on Cosmos. By utilizing Chain Abstraction, it offers a "One Account, One Balance, Any Chain." platform. This approach, featuring Universal Accounts and Universal Liquidity, simplifies the complexities of managing multiple blockchain assets and accounts.

According to a recent Binance blog post, this investment will enable Particle Network to enhance its modular Layer-1 infrastructure, allowing users to seamlessly interact with the entire multi-chain ecosystem. This entails maintaining a single account and balance across all chains, and users can conveniently pay gas fees in their preferred token.

Particle Network founder Pengyu expressed his excitement about the support, stating:

"We are honored to receive this investment from Binance Labs, a true pioneer in driving industry innovation. This partnership is a major milestone for Particle Network as we work towards advancing the realization of Chain Abstraction and accelerating the mass adoption of Web3. With Binance Labs' support, we will enhance our technical capabilities and expand our footprint in the global Web3 community. Together, we are paving the way for Web3 to become more accessible and user-friendly for all."

The funding will also contribute to Particle Network's global expansion and further development of its Chain Abstraction features. It's also important to note that this builds up to the launch of their L1 mainnet, which is expected later this year. This will provide a more user-friendly and unified experience for developers and users in the Web3 space.
