Arthur W. Frawley, 77, of Erie passed away on Tuesday, June 11, 2024. He was born in Gardner, MA on October 29, 1946, a son of the late, Leo Frawley, Sr. and Mildred (Smith) Thayer.

Arthur W. Frawley, age 77, of Erie, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, on Tuesday, June 11, 2024, at Manchester Commons. He was born in Gardner, MA on October 29, 1946, a son of the late Leo Frawley, Sr. and Mildred (Smith) Thayer.
Arthur graduated in 1964 from Cathedral Preparatory School. He worked for many years at Bucyrus-Erie and Codan Corporation, and retired from York-Seaway, Inc. Art was highly involved with the Summit Township Senior Citizens and St. Lukes Pinochle Club. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed coin and stamp collecting. Art loved baking cookies and sharing them with others. He was a score keeper for Rolling Meadows leagues and even kept score for professional tournaments. Art loved painting ceramics and provided a beautiful collection for each family member over the years. He was the type of guy that could make friends with anyone and always knew a familiar face wherever he went. Most importantly, Art loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He will be missed dearly.
In addition to his parents, Arthur is preceded in death by his wife, Charlene (Rilling) Frawley, his step-father, Robert Thayer, brother, Leo Frawley, Jr., and his sister, Janet.
He is survived by his children, Michael Frawley (Diane), Sean Frawley (Carol), Shannon Weber (Frank), and Tara Eaton (Jeremy), grandchildren, Patrick Frawley, Kayla and Giordana Weber, and Allyson and Kelcie Eaton, sister-in-law, Kathy Frawley, and nephews, Danny Frawley and Michael Frawley.
Friends may call on Monday from 3pm until 7pm at the Kloecker Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. 2502 Sassafras St. and are invited to the Funeral Mass on Tuesday at 10 am at Sacred Heart Church. Burial will follow at Wintergreen Gorge Cemetery.
The family would like to thank Manchester Commons, especially the staff of Blue Herron, for taking excellent care of Art the past couple years.
