This collaboration introduces Zero Trust Protocols (ZTPs) to the Aptos ecosystem, enabling seamless transactions across Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH).

Aptos, a prominent layer-1 blockchain, has announced its integration with dWallet to bolster multi-chain interoperability for decentralized finance (DeFi) and Web3 gaming applications. This collaboration marks the introduction of Zero Trust Protocols (ZTPs) within the Aptos ecosystem.
The integration enables seamless transactions involving Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH) directly on the Aptos network, without the need for bridging or token wrapping. This collaboration aims to simplify the user experience in DeFi and Web3 gaming by harnessing Aptos's advanced multi-chain capabilities.
According to Omer Sadika, co-founder of dWallet Network, this partnership will notably facilitate native BTC and ETH transactions on Aptos, eliminating the complexities encountered in traditional cross-chain activities.
"Expanding dWallet's technological stack to Aptos is a significant step towards broadening the horizons for DeFi and gaming," said Sadika, emphasizing the integration's potential to drive the adoption of a multi-chain ecosystem. dWallet's cryptographic 2PC-MPC (Two-Party Computation-Multi-Party Computation) model aims to incentivize on-chain participation from both end-users and validators, promoting greater involvement in the DeFi landscape.
Professor Benny Pinkas, a researcher at Aptos, lauded the partnership, highlighting its potential to empower developers within the Aptos network to create ZTPs that operate securely across Web3.
"This collaboration represents a forward-thinking move for the Aptos network, enabling cryptographically secure multi-chain operability," stated Pinkas.
Launched in October 2022, Aptos is a non-Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM)-compatible layer-1 blockchain. It boasts rapid, low-cost transactions and energy efficiency thanks to its proof-of-stake consensus mechanism. This integration with dWallet further enhances Aptos's capabilities, positioning it as a key player in the evolving multi-chain landscape.
