Aptos is scheduled to unlock 11.31 million APT tokens on June 12, 2025, which is approximately 1.79% of the current circulating supply, valued at around $52.7–$59 million.

Aptos (APT) is set to unlock a portion of its tokens on June 12, 2025, which marks the final day of the 11th month in 2025.
According to data from TokenUnlocks, about 11.31 million APT will be unlocked from the core contributors, foundation, and investors. The total value of the unlock is estimated at around $52.7–$59 million, based on the current market price of APT, which is trading at $4.64.
As a percentage of the current circulating supply, which is about 632,247,811 tokens, this unlock represents about 1.79% of the total.
Here's a breakdown of the tokens to be unlocked and their respective distributees:
* Community: 3.21 million tokens
* Core Contributors: 3.96 million tokens
* Foundation: 1.33 million tokens
* Investors: 2.81 million tokens
Earlier this month, Aptos completed another round of its monthly token unlocks. A total of 20 million Aptos (APT) tokens were unlocked on June 6, 2025.
These unlocks are part of Aptos's broader token release strategy, which is executed in standard monthly installments. The goal of this strategy is to ensure the long-term sustainability of the Aptos ecosystem.
Aptos is a Layer 1 blockchain that is focused on providing high throughput and low latency. The protocol is also designed to be scalable and secure. Aptos is used by a growing ecosystem of decentralized applications (DApps') and projects.
According to TokenUnlocks, a significant portion of Aptos's total supply is still locked up. At the time of writing, about 43.5% of the total Aptos tokens are still locked. These tokens will be unlocked in future installments as part of the long-term vesting schedule.
Several other crypto projects are also scheduled to release new tokens this week. These projects include Astar Network (ASTR), Celer Network (CELR), and Cartesi (CTSI). A significant portion of these projects' tokens are still locked up, which could impact their price action in the coming weeks.
As these projects continue to develop their products and services, they will be looking to attract new users and investors. The demand for these projects' tokens will ultimately depend on a variety of factors, including the progress they make in developing their products, the strength of the broader crypto market, and the interest of institutional investors.
