Four Altcoins to Watch as Bitcoin (BTC) Price Nears New All-Time High

Four Altcoins to Watch as Bitcoin (BTC) Price Nears New All-Time High

U.S. SEC Chairman Paul Atkins recently made a statement in support of Bitcoin (BTC) and crypto, which helped push the crypto market higher. His positive stance, in contrast to the SEC’s usual tone toward crypto, surprised many and had a visible impact.

Atkins’ comments, along with other positive developments, helped Bitcoin come close to setting a new all-time high. Yesterday, Bitcoin saw a price jump, breaking past $106,000 and $109,000 levels, and even touched $110,000 before pulling back slightly.

At the time of writing, BTC is trading at $105,000 and slipping back into the red zone after yesterday’s rally. Most altcoins also reacted positively and slipped into the green zone. Here are four altcoins that could be setting the stage for a bigger rally in the coming weeks:

1. Chainlink (LINK)

Chainlink has been making headlines lately as it quickly connects old finance systems with blockchain technology, according to the founder, Sergey Nazarov. Chainlink runs most of Ethereum’s oracle system and supports over $60 billion in DeFi.

Right now, Chainlink’s price is at a tricky point. It needs to go above $16 to confirm the bullish reversal. If it can stay above that, it could go higher toward $17.50 and beyond. But it might also drop and test support levels first.

If it drops below $14.50, it could continue falling to $13.50, which is the next strong support level.

2. Ethereum (ETH)

Ethereum recently hit a new milestone with over 34 million ETH staked — that’s about 30% of all ETH out there. In other news, big companies are investing millions in Ethereum and other coins like Bitcoin and Solana.

Ethereum is getting strong support from institutions, which could propel its price higher. If ETH goes back above $2800 and manages to hold above it, it could continue rising toward $3100 or even $3650 in the near future.

However, if it drops below $2500, it might continue falling to $2300, providing another opportunity to buy the dip.

3. Injective (INJ)

Injective has been relatively quiet for a while now but is slowly starting to make some moves again. Among other things, Injective’s platform hit 2 billion transactions and reputed companies are joining their upcoming Injective summit, amid institutions getting involved.

Injective’s price needs to get back above $15 and then face resistance at around $18-$19. If it manages to break through those levels, it could go much higher toward $31. But if it drops below $12.50, it might continue falling to $11.50.

4. Hyperliquid (HYPE)

Hyperliquid has been booming recently, with the number of users tripling and transactions nearly doubling. It’s also outperforming similar projects by a wide margin, especially in terms of user growth.

HYPE just hit a new all-time-high today and is trading at $42 at the time of writing. The analyst said that investors should wait for a small pullback to around $39 before buying. After that, it could keep rising toward $44-$46.

But if HYPE drops below $33, it might continue falling to $31.50, providing another opportunity to buy the dip.
