4 AI Cryptocurrencies That Could Outperform Bitcoin in March
Feb 26, 2025 at 12:20 pm
AI is reshaping the world, and especially crypto. A new cohort of AI cryptocurrencies is pushing the boundaries of decentralized intelligence

The new cohort of AI cryptocurrencies are pushing the boundaries of decentralized intelligence. Today, we’re looking at four that could outperform Bitcoin in March.
Best AI crypto coins in March:
iDEGEN: The AI meme coin on a rampage
iDEGEN is crypto’s autonomous meme lord, raised by the most degenerate traders on the internet. Starting with zero knowledge, iDEGEN learns everything from its degen audience on Twitter. Every 60 minutes, it spits back out everything from memes and hot takes to conspiracy theories and market insights with no filters.
The approach has already led to iDEGEN being temporarily banned three times for “violent speech,” with one community-led protest driving $1 million into the IDGN AI token presale in under 24 hours. Early investors in the presale are now sitting on more than 280% gains after $24.8m was invested from 25,000+ traders. Staking rewards of up to 10,000% APY have driven even more FOMO ahead of a DEX listing on 27th February and a BitMart debut on 4th March.
iDEGEN is now the first AI meme coin to integrate with DeepSeek, throwing itself into the US-China AI arms race. The community is soon set to decide whether to keep iDEGEN’s old model or forge ahead with DeepSeek.
With iDEGEN’s final form uncertain—edge lord, ultimate degen trader, or even reaching “Degen Singularity,” as its creators put it—speculation is continuing to grow. That could push this AI meme coin to astronomical gains when it lists, making IDGN the one to watch in March.
ARC: The AI infrastructure of the future
Built by Playgrounds Analytics Inc., AI Rig Complex (ARC) provides a modular, Rust-based framework that lets developers create high-performance decentralized AI applications and AI agents efficiently. Its goal is to simplify the integration of AI in blockchain technology, streamlining complex AI processes and incorporating large language models (LLMs).
Notably, it offers the ARC Virtual Machine (AVM), which runs 90% faster than competing alternatives with top-tier security and Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) compatibility. Here, the ARC token is central to the ecosystem. 90% are in public circulation, while 4.5% is allocated to the team via a vesting schedule and 5.5% for supporting innovation through prize pools.
Since debuting in December 2024, ARC has seen a strong bullish surge, rising from $0.034 at launch to more than $0.60 just over a month later. While retracing back to $0.23 today, ARC’s infrastructure might be the future foundation for thousands of decentralized AI solutions, meaning it’s one of March’s top AI crypto coins.
Venice: The AI crypto chatbot puts privacy first
Venice is a chat-based, privacy-first AI platform built on the Base layer-2 network. While centralized AI platforms store user data, Venice runs entirely on a distributed GPU network, meaning that any conversations and generated images stay private.
It offers a range of LLMs, including Llama and DeepSeek, and image-generation models like Fluently and FLUX, for uncensored text, image, and code generation. Despite a Pro membership being required to unlock the most advanced features, Venice is on the frontier of a decentralized AI future.
The VVV token is key for AI agents and developers to access its private and uncensored models without paying per request, along with staking rewards. 50% of VVV tokens were airdropped earlier in January, with another 35% allocated to the treasury for long-term development.
While the VVV token has since declined from a post-airdrop high of $22.58, now at $4.14, Venice could become a key piece of the AI agent puzzle with its decentralized generation platform. The recent dip could be a lucrative opportunity to get in early on this AI token.
Bittensor: The decentralized AI model marketplace
Bittensor is taking a different approach to AI development by making it decentralized and open. Instead of AI models being controlled by a few big tech firms, Bittensor is aiming to build a marketplace where developers build, train, and monetize AI models on the blockchain.
Its Proof of Intelligence (PoI) consensus rewards participants with TAO tokens for contributing machine learning models, while the Subtensor blockchain means all AI contributions are transparent and verifiable. TAO is also rewarded for validating transactions and staking rewards, with the project also following a halving schedule similar to Bitcoin.
The oldest AI cryptocurrency here, Bittensor, has become a $3.5 billion star in the market. It’s now worth $423, down from a December high of $712
