ADA Price Prediction: No Place to Hide From the Bears
May 27, 2024 at 05:30 pm
ADA’s Elder-Ray Index showed a negative value at press time and has consistently remained negative since May 23.

Cardano’s (ADA) price has fallen below its 20-day exponential moving average and 50-day simple moving average, indicating a decrease in buying pressure.
As the altcoin’s value continues to decline, further downward pressure on its price could lead it to trade at the long-term support level of $0.42.
Cardano’s traders might be looking the other way as the coin’s price continues to fall.
Since peaking at $0.51 on May 21st, ADA’s price has trended downwards, currently trading at $0.45, marking a drop of 11%.
Moreover, on-chain data indicates a decline in demand for the altcoin during this period.
The daily count of active addresses that completed transactions involving ADA fell by 17%.
Additionally, new demand for the altcoin dropped by 22%.
ADA’s price decline aligns with the overall downtrend in the cryptocurrency market, contributing to lower prices for the coin.
The global cryptocurrency market capitalization has decreased by 2% in the past seven days.
Finally, ADA whale activity also saw a decline last week, with the number of daily ADA transactions above $100,000 falling by 69%.
A decrease in an asset’s whale activity is important as it often signifies that large investors are losing信心 in its prospects.
This lack of whale interest might lead to a sustained period of price decline.
ADA’s Elder-Ray Index carries a negative value at press time and has remained consistently negative since May 23rd.
This indicator gauges the strength of buyers and sellers in the market, and when it turns negative, it indicates that bull power is weakening, while bear power might be strengthening, suggesting that sellers have more control over the price than buyers.
The decreasing buying pressure in the ADA market was also evident from its declining Accumulation/Distribution (A/D) Line.
At 48.45 billion at press time, ADA’s A/D Line has dropped by 0.3% since May 20th.
This decline in ADA’s price and its A/D Line together confirmed a downtrend, with the indicator suggesting high selling pressure, which supported the price decline.
If this decline continues, ADA’s price might fall to $0.44 or even $0.42, which has formed a long-term support level for the altcoin.
However, if this scenario is invalidated and bullish activity returns to the ADA market, the coin’s price could rally past $0.46 to trade at $0.48.
