  While the market is very close to trade back at the highs before the trade fiasco, the difference is that the value of your portfolio is down about 10% because of the devaluation of the US Dollar. A good example that timing the market beats "time in the market" bs. $SPY $SPX

  $SPX Since 2002, there has only been 3 red calendar years (based on total returns with divi reinvested). So out of 23 occurrences, bears ate 3 times only. It pays to be a medium-long term bull. Always.

  Flat day at the index level, but plenty of movement beneath the surface. 72% of the $SPX finished lower, but $NVDA, $GOOG, and $AAPL masked much of the weakness, accounting for over 40% of the day’s bullish momentum. Market cap distortion at its finest.
