  $SPX 30 mins RSI 96. Imagine you shorted index on the 8th because RSI was 80 for the first time. You would blow up your port. That is why for RSI you have to wait for divergence. And more importantly, do the inverse. Buy extreme oversold in up trend and sell overbought in
