What is BTC Qualification?
BTC (Basic Training Course) is a program designed for candidates to qualify as Probationary Officers in Public Sector Banks in India.
Steps to Obtain BTC Qualification
Eligibility:
- Graduate in any discipline from a recognized university
- Age between 20 and 30 years as of August 1 of the year of recruitment
Application:
- Apply through the online portal of the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS)
- Pay the prescribed application fee
Preliminary Exam:
- Objective-type exam with questions from Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, and English Language
Main Exam:
- Written exam with sections on General Awareness, Reasoning Ability, Quantitative Aptitude, and English Language
- Objective-type and descriptive-type questions
Interview:
- Panel interview for shortlisted candidates
- Assesses communication skills, personality, and suitability for the role
Final Selection:
- Based on combined performance in the Main Exam and Interview
