how to verify exodus wallet
To verify your Exodus wallet, create one, write down the recovery phrase, obtain a Passport, provide the Passport number, verify your email, confirm your identity, and complete additional steps as required based on your jurisdiction.

- Install the Exodus Wallet
Download and install the Exodus wallet from the official website.
- Create a Wallet
Follow the on-screen instructions to create a new Exodus wallet.
- Write Down Recovery Phrase
During wallet creation, you will receive a 12-word recovery phrase. Write it down and store it safely offline.
- Get a Passport (in-app)
Within the Exodus wallet, navigate to "Settings" and select "Get Passport." Follow the on-screen instructions to obtain a Passport, which is necessary for verification.
- Provide Passport Number
After obtaining a Passport, return to the verification page within the wallet and enter the Passport number.
- Verify Email Address
Click the "Verify Email" button and enter your email address. An email will be sent to your inbox with a verification link. Click the link to complete the process.
- Confirm Identity
You may be required to complete additional identity verification steps, such as providing a government-issued ID or taking a selfie. These steps vary depending on jurisdiction.
- Verification Complete
Once all steps are completed, your Exodus wallet will be verified. You will see a green checkmark next to the verification status in the wallet settings.
