How to Find Transaction ID on MetaMask

  1. Open MetaMask: Launch the MetaMask browser extension or mobile app.

  3. Locate the Transaction: Scroll through the list of transactions until you find the one you need. Each transaction is listed with its timestamp, type, and status.
  4. Click the Transaction Card: Click on the card representing the transaction you're interested in.
  5. View Transaction Details: The transaction details will be displayed, including the following information:

    • Transaction Hash: This is the unique ID of the transaction. Click the "Copy to Clipboard" button to copy it.
    • Value: The amount of cryptocurrency involved in the transaction.
    • From: The address that sent the cryptocurrency.
    • To: The address that received the cryptocurrency.
    • Nonce: A unique number associated with the transaction.
    • Timestamp: The date and time when the transaction was initiated.
  6. Use the Transaction Hash: You can use the transaction hash to track the progress of the transaction on the blockchain explorer. Simply paste the hash into the search bar of a blockchain explorer website such as Etherscan.io.
