How to Swap on PancakeSwap with Trust Wallet: A Step-by-Step Guide
PancakeSwap is a decentralized exchange (DEX) built on the Binance Smart Chain (BSC) that allows users to swap BEP-20 tokens. Trust Wallet is a popular mobile crypto wallet that supports a wide range of cryptocurrencies and blockchain networks, including BSC.
This guide will provide you with a step-by-step process on how to swap tokens on PancakeSwap using Trust Wallet.
Step 1: Set Up Your Trust Wallet
- If you don't already have Trust Wallet installed, download it from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android).
- Create a new wallet or import an existing one.
Step 2: Add Binance Smart Chain (BSC) Network
- Open Trust Wallet and tap on the "Settings" tab.
- Select "Networks" and tap on "Add Network."
- Enter the following details:
Network Name: BSC Mainnet
Chain ID: 56
Symbol: BNB
RPC URL: https://bsc-dataseed.binance.org/- Tap on "Save" to add the BSC network.
Step 3: Get Your BNB
- BNB is the native token of the BSC network and it's required to cover transaction fees on PancakeSwap.
- You can purchase BNB through Trust Wallet or send it from another source.
Step 4: Connect Your Wallet to PancakeSwap
- Go to the PancakeSwap website (https://pancakeswap.finance/).
- Click on "Connect" in the top right corner and select "Trust Wallet."
- Confirm the connection in your Trust Wallet app.
Step 5: Choose Your Tokens
- In the PancakeSwap interface, select the tokens you want to swap. You can use the search bar to find the desired tokens.
- Enter the amount of tokens you want to swap.
Step 6: Set Your Slippage Tolerance
- Slippage tolerance is the maximum percentage difference between your expected price and the actual price at which your order is executed.
- Set the slippage tolerance to at least 1% to account for price fluctuations.
Step 7: Review and Confirm
- Review the transaction details carefully, including the token amounts, exchange rate, and transaction fee.
- Once you're satisfied, tap on the "Swap" button to confirm the transaction.
Step 8: Wait for Confirmation
- The transaction will be processed and confirmed on the BSC network. This may take a few minutes, depending on network traffic.
Step 9: Check Your Balance
- Once the transaction is confirmed, the swapped tokens will appear in your Trust Wallet balance.
