How to send crypto from Trust Wallet to an exchange? (Withdrawal)
To withdraw crypto from Trust Wallet: open the app, select the token, tap Send, enter the correct exchange address and network, confirm fees, and authenticate—transactions are irreversible.
Mar 19, 2026 at 04:00 am
Accessing the Wallet Interface
1. Open the Trust Wallet application on your mobile device and authenticate using your biometric data or passcode.
2. Navigate to the asset you wish to withdraw by scrolling through your token list or using the search bar at the top.
3. Tap on the selected cryptocurrency to open its dedicated wallet screen, where balance, transaction history, and action buttons are displayed.
4. Confirm that the wallet contains sufficient balance to cover both the intended withdrawal amount and the network fee.
5. Ensure the wallet is connected to the correct blockchain network—some tokens exist across multiple chains (e.g., USDT on Ethereum, BSC, or Tron), and mismatched networks cause irreversible loss.
Initiating the Withdrawal Process
1. On the asset’s wallet screen, tap the Send button located at the bottom center of the interface.
2. Paste or scan the exchange deposit address into the recipient field—this must be the exact address provided by the exchange for that specific coin and network.
3. Enter the withdrawal amount manually or use the “Max” option if sending the full available balance minus fees.
4. Review the network selection dropdown to verify it matches the chain supported by the exchange for that token—BSC for BNB-based tokens, Ethereum for ERC-20, etc.
5. Double-check the recipient address for checksum validity and length consistency; Trust Wallet displays a warning icon if the address appears malformed.
Confirming Transaction Details
1. After entering all fields, Trust Wallet calculates and displays the estimated network fee in real time—this value fluctuates based on current congestion levels.
2. A preview screen shows the recipient address, amount, selected network, and fee before final submission—no changes can be made after confirmation.
3. Tap Confirm to proceed, then authenticate again with your device’s security method.
4. The transaction hash appears immediately upon broadcast, and the status changes to “Pending” while awaiting blockchain confirmation.
5. Monitor progress via the transaction history tab or paste the hash into a compatible block explorer like BscScan or Etherscan.
Exchange Deposit Verification
1. Log into your target exchange account and navigate to the wallet or deposits section.
2. Locate the corresponding cryptocurrency and confirm the deposit address shown matches the one used in Trust Wallet.
3. Wait for the required number of confirmations—exchanges typically require 12–30 blocks depending on network speed and policy.
4. Check the exchange’s deposit history for status updates; some platforms display “Processing”, “Confirmed”, or “Credited” as stages.
5. If the deposit does not appear after the expected confirmation window, verify the transaction hash on-chain to rule out failed or stuck transfers.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Can I cancel a crypto withdrawal after confirming in Trust Wallet?A: No. Once confirmed, transactions are immutable and cannot be reversed, paused, or canceled on any blockchain.
Q: Why does my exchange show “Deposit Not Received” even though the transaction is confirmed on-chain?A: This usually occurs due to network mismatch—sending BEP-20 tokens to an ERC-20 deposit address—or insufficient confirmations processed by the exchange backend.
Q: Is it safe to reuse the same exchange deposit address for multiple withdrawals?A: Yes, most centralized exchanges generate static deposit addresses per asset, but always verify the address before each transfer to avoid human error.
Q: What happens if I send crypto to an incorrect address?A: Funds sent to invalid or mistyped addresses are permanently lost unless the recipient controls that address and chooses to return them.
