How to sell BNB for BUSD or USDT? (Binance ecosystem guide)
To sell BNB for BUSD or USDT on Binance, log in, go to Trade → Spot, select the pair, choose Market or Limit order (min 0.001 BNB), or use Convert/Swap (0.1% fee), then withdraw via BEP-20.
Feb 13, 2026 at 11:39 am
Accessing the Binance Spot Trading Interface
1. Log into your verified Binance account via web or mobile application.
- Navigate to the Trade section and select Spot.
- Use the search bar to locate the trading pair BNB/BUSD or BNB/USDT.
- Ensure sufficient BNB balance is available in your Spot Wallet before initiating any order.
- Confirm that your account has completed identity verification to meet withdrawal and trading limits.
Placing a Market Order for Immediate Conversion
1. In the trading interface, switch to the Market order tab.
- Enter the amount of BNB you wish to sell — the interface auto-calculates equivalent BUSD or USDT based on current bid price.
- Click Sell BNB to execute instantly at the best available price.
- A confirmation modal appears showing executed price, fees, and net proceeds.
- Completed trades reflect immediately in your Spot Wallet under the respective stablecoin balance.
Using Limit Orders for Price Control
1. Select the Limit order type to define your desired exchange rate.
- Input your preferred price per BNB in BUSD or USDT — orders only fill when market reaches that level.
- Specify exact BNB quantity; fractional amounts like 0.001 BNB are supported.
- Choose order validity: Good Till Cancelled (GTC) or Immediate or Cancel (IOC).
- Submit the order and monitor its status under Open Orders until fully filled or manually cancelled.
Alternative Methods via Binance Convert and Swap
1. Go to Trade → Convert for one-click non-order-book conversion.
- Select BNB as source asset and BUSD or USDT as target — system displays real-time rate and fee.
- Enter amount and confirm; execution occurs within seconds without slippage concerns.
- Alternatively, use Trade → Swap for cross-chain or multi-asset paths, though BNB-to-stablecoin swaps typically route through native BEP-20 liquidity pools.
- Both Convert and Swap incur flat 0.1% fee, lower than standard spot taker fees for small volumes.
Withdrawing Stablecoins After Conversion
1. Once BUSD or USDT appears in your Spot Wallet, go to Wallet → Fiat and Spot.
- Click Withdraw next to the chosen stablecoin.
- Select network: BEP-20 for fastest and cheapest transfer within Binance ecosystem.
- Paste external wallet address or select a saved address — Binance validates checksum automatically.
- Enter amount, review network fee displayed in real time, then confirm with 2FA or API key approval.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Can I sell BNB for BUSD directly from my Binance Savings account?A: No. Assets held in Flexible or Locked Savings must first be redeemed to your Spot Wallet before initiating any sale.
Q: Why does the BNB/BUSD price differ slightly from BNB/USDT on the same chart?A: BUSD and USDT maintain separate liquidity pools and order books. Arbitrage mechanisms keep spreads narrow but not identical, especially during high volatility.
Q: Is there a minimum BNB amount required to place a limit order?A: Yes. The minimum tradable quantity is 0.001 BNB for all spot pairs including BNB/BUSD and BNB/USDT.
Q: Do I pay fees when converting BNB to BUSD using the Convert tool?A: Yes. Binance applies a 0.1% fee on the converted amount, deducted from the output stablecoin value before crediting your wallet.
