Setting Up Satflow in UniSat Wallet

1. Open the UniSat Wallet browser extension or mobile app and ensure it is updated to the latest version.

2. Navigate to the DApp Center section, accessible via the main menu or bottom navigation bar on mobile.

3. Use the search bar to type “Satflow” and select the official Satflow application from the verified list.

4. Click “Connect Wallet” inside the Satflow interface to initiate a secure connection with your UniSat Wallet.

5. Approve the connection request in the UniSat pop-up window, confirming wallet address visibility and transaction signing permissions.

Creating and Managing Ordinal Inscriptions

1. Once connected, go to the “Inscribe” tab within Satflow to begin preparing a new ordinal inscription.

2. Upload a supported file — PNG, JPG, TXT, or HTML — ensuring it does not exceed the 4MB limit imposed by Bitcoin’s block constraints.

3. Select the UTXO from your UniSat Wallet that will fund the inscription fee; Satflow displays available UTXOs with their satoshi values and confirmation status.

4. Review the estimated network fee based on current mempool congestion and adjust if necessary using the slider provided.

5. Confirm the inscription details and sign the transaction using your UniSat Wallet private key stored locally.

Tracking Inscription Status on-chain

1. After signing, Satflow displays a pending inscription ID in the format txid:i, where i indicates the output index containing the inscription.

2. Click “View on Explorer” to open the transaction in the UniSat Explorer or Mempool.space, showing real-time confirmation progress.

3. Monitor the number of confirmations until the inscription appears under your wallet’s “Ordinals” tab in UniSat Wallet.

4. Satflow automatically refreshes the inscription list every 30 seconds when the page remains active.

5. If an inscription fails due to low fee or mempool rejection, Satflow logs the error and allows re-submission with adjusted parameters.

Transferring Inscribed Satoshis

1. Go to the “Assets” section in Satflow and locate the specific inscribed satoshi by its inscription ID or associated content preview.

2. Click “Send” to open a transfer modal pre-filled with the inscription’s unique satoshi identifier.

3. Enter the recipient’s Bitcoin address — note that only native SegWit (bc1q) or Taproot (bc1p) addresses are fully supported for ordinal transfers.

4. Select a funding UTXO from your UniSat Wallet with sufficient balance to cover both the transfer amount and required miner fee.

5. Sign the transfer transaction using UniSat Wallet, then verify the resulting transaction contains the correct inscription output in the destination address.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Can I inscribe multiple files in one transaction using Satflow?A: No. Each inscription must be submitted as a separate transaction because Bitcoin’s ordinal protocol assigns uniqueness per satoshi output.

Q: Why does my inscription show “Not Found” in UniSat Wallet after confirmation?A: This occurs when the receiving address was not controlled by your UniSat Wallet at the time of inscription or if the inscription was sent to a non-SegWit address unsupported by the indexer.

Q: Does Satflow support BRC-20 token deployment?A: No. Satflow is built exclusively for ordinal inscriptions and does not handle BRC-20 token minting, transferring, or balance tracking.

Q: Is it possible to cancel an inscription after signing but before confirmation?A: No. Once signed and broadcast, the transaction enters the Bitcoin mempool and cannot be revoked; users must wait for confirmation or allow natural expiration.
