How to Recover Trust Wallet Account

1. Uninstall and Reinstall Trust Wallet

Delete the Trust Wallet app from your phone.
Download and reinstall Trust Wallet from the official website or app store.

2. Enter Your Recovery Phrase

When you open the new installation, the app will prompt you for your recovery phrase.
Enter your 12-word (or 24-word) recovery phrase carefully.
Ensure that the order of the words is correct.

3. Set Up New Wallet

After entering your recovery phrase, Trust Wallet will create a new wallet.
This wallet will replace your old wallet and hold all your funds.

4. verify Your Identity

For enhanced security, Trust Wallet may ask you to verify your identity via a selfie or government-issued ID.
Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the verification process.

5. Reset Transaction History

Once your account is recovered, your transaction history will be reset.
To view your previous transactions, you need to import them from a third-party block explorer, such as Etherscan.

6. Disable Old Wallet

Your old wallet will remain active until you receive funds to it.
To disable the old wallet, you must transfer all remaining funds to your new wallet.
Once the balance is zero, the old wallet will be automatically deactivated.

Store your recovery phrase safely offline on a physical notebook or hardware wallet.
