How to Receive USDT from Binance in Trust Wallet? How to Choose the Correct Chain?

Receiving USDT from Binance into Trust Wallet
1. Log in to your Binance account and navigate to the Wallet section, then select Fiat and Spot Wallet.
2. Click Withdraw, search for USDT, and choose the exact blockchain network that matches your Trust Wallet’s active network.
3. In Trust Wallet, open the app and tap the Receive button on the USDT asset card — this displays your wallet address and QR code.
4. Copy the displayed address or scan the QR code directly from Binance’s withdrawal interface.
5. Paste the address into Binance’s withdrawal field and double-check the first and last five characters before confirming.
6. Enter the desired amount, review the network fee shown, and submit the withdrawal after completing 2FA verification.
Chain Compatibility Between Binance and Trust Wallet
1. Trust Wallet supports multiple USDT chains including TRC-20 (Tron), ERC-20 (Ethereum), BEP-20 (BNB Smart Chain), and SOL (Solana).
2. Binance allows withdrawals across all these networks, but each requires a distinct deposit address format: TRC-20 addresses start with “T”, ERC-20 addresses begin with “0x”, and BEP-20 addresses also start with “0x” but are only valid on BSC.
3. Sending TRC-20 USDT to an ERC-20 address in Trust Wallet will result in permanent loss — no cross-chain recovery is possible.
4. If you hold USDT on Binance under the TRC-20 network, you must activate Tron in Trust Wallet and receive it there — not Ethereum or BSC.
5. To verify chain alignment, compare the network icon next to the USDT balance in Trust Wallet with the selected withdrawal network on Binance.
Setting Up the Correct Network in Trust Wallet
1. Open Trust Wallet and go to the Settings menu, then tap Wallets and select your wallet.
2. Tap the three-dot menu and choose Edit Networks to enable or disable specific blockchains.
3. Toggle on Tron if you plan to receive TRC-20 USDT, or Ethereum for ERC-20, or BNB Smart Chain for BEP-20.
4. After enabling a network, return to the main screen and tap the + icon to manually add USDT by entering its official contract address from Etherscan, Tronscan, or BscScan.
5. Confirm the contract address is verified and published on the corresponding blockchain explorer — never rely solely on third-party lists.
Verifying Receipt and Troubleshooting Delays
1. Once submitted, check the Transaction History in Trust Wallet — pending transactions appear under the correct network tab.
2. Locate the transaction hash (TxID) in Binance’s withdrawal record and paste it into the relevant blockchain explorer: Etherscan for ERC-20, Tronscan for TRC-20, or BscScan for BEP-20.
3. A status of “Confirmed” means the tokens have been written to the ledger; however, Trust Wallet may require manual token addition to display the balance.
4. If USDT does not appear after confirmation, ensure the correct contract address was added to Trust Wallet — mismatched contracts cause invisible balances.
5. Avoid using memo or tag fields unless explicitly required by the sending platform — Binance USDT withdrawals do not use memos.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Can I receive USDT on Trust Wallet without holding any native gas token?Yes, for TRC-20 USDT you do not need TRX to receive — only to send. For ERC-20, ETH is not required to receive, but you’ll need it later to initiate transfers.
Q: Why does my Trust Wallet show zero USDT even after the TxID confirms on Etherscan? This occurs when the USDT token contract has not been manually added to your wallet. You must import the official ERC-20 USDT contract address to make it visible.
Q: Does Trust Wallet support USDT on Solana (SPL)?Yes, Trust Wallet supports SPL-based USDT on Solana, but you must enable the Solana network and add the correct SPL token contract — not the Ethereum version.
Q: What happens if I accidentally withdraw USDT from Binance using BEP-20 to an ERC-20 address in Trust Wallet? The transaction will fail at the network level — it cannot be processed. Funds remain in Binance and can be re-withdrawn correctly after contacting support with the TxID.
