How to Import NFT to MetaMask

Step 1: Ensure Compatibility

Check if your NFT is compatible with the Ethereum blockchain.
MetaMask supports ERC-721 and ERC-1155 token standards.

Step 2: Add the Network

If your NFT is on a different blockchain network, add it to MetaMask:
- Click the "Network" dropdown in MetaMask.
- Select "Add Network" and enter the required details.

Step 3: Import the Token

Go to the "Assets" tab in MetaMask.
Click the "Import Tokens" button.
Select "Custom Token" and enter the following details:
- Token Contract Address: The unique address of the NFT's smart contract.
- Token Symbol: The ticker symbol for the NFT (optional).
- Decimals of Precision: 0 for most NFTs.

Step 4: Confirm Import

Click "Add Custom Token" to import the NFT to your wallet.
You should now see the NFT listed in your "Assets" tab.

Additional Notes:

If you purchased the NFT on a marketplace (e.g., OpenSea), you may need to transfer it to your MetaMask wallet manually.
NFTs are non-fungible tokens, meaning each one is unique and cannot be replicated or exchanged for another of equal value.
MetaMask allows you to view and manage your NFT assets, but you cannot trade or sell NFTs within the wallet itself.
