How to Get an EVM Wallet Address on Trust Wallet
1. Install Trust Wallet:
Download the Trust Wallet app from the official website or your device's app store.
2. Create a New Wallet:
Open the app and tap "Create a new wallet" to generate a new wallet address.
3. Verify Your Phrase:
Trust Wallet will provide you with a 12-word recovery phrase. Write it down and store it securely.
4. Select Binance Smart Chain:
On the main screen, tap the "Wallet" tab and scroll down to find the "Binance Smart Chain" network.
5. Tap Receive:
Under the Binance Smart Chain network, tap on the "Receive" button.
6. Copy Your Address:
A QR code and a long string of characters will be displayed. This is your EVM wallet address. You can copy it by tapping the "Copy" button.
7. Verify Your Address:
To ensure that you have copied the correct address, send a small amount of BNB or another BEP-20 token to this address from another wallet. Check if the tokens arrive at the address you copied.
Tips:
- Keep your recovery phrase secret and secure, as it is the only way to recover your wallet if it is lost or stolen.
- Always verify your EVM wallet address before sending or receiving funds, especially if you are dealing with large amounts of cryptocurrency.
- Use a hardware wallet for enhanced security for your EVM wallet.
