How to Delete Trust Wallet Account PermanentlyStep 1: Back Up Your Crypto Assets

Before deleting your account, it's crucial to safeguard your cryptocurrencies. Transfer all your funds to a secure, external wallet or exchange.

Step 2: Log In to Your Trust Wallet

Open the Trust Wallet app on your device. Enter your backup passphrase to log in securely.

Step 3: Navigate to the Settings Page

Tap the "Settings" icon in the bottom right corner of the main screen.

Step 4: Scroll Down and Tap "Delete Account"

Under the "General" section, scroll down and locate the "Delete Account" option. Tap on it.

Step 5: Confirm Deletion Request

A confirmation window will appear. Carefully read the instructions and ensure you understand the consequences of deleting your account.

Step 6: Enter Your Backup Passphrase

Enter your backup passphrase to confirm that you are the legitimate account holder.

Step 7: Delete Your Account

Once you enter your passphrase, tap the "Delete Account" button. This action will permanently delete your Trust Wallet account and all associated data.

Additional Information:

Deleting your Trust Wallet account will also delete all your contacts, transaction history, and other app data.
Your crypto assets will not be lost as they are stored on the blockchain. You can access them by importing your recovery phrase into a different wallet.
Trust Wallet recommends backing up your account recovery phrase before deleting your account to prevent permanent loss of funds.
If you change your mind and want to recover your deleted account, you cannot do so. Your account and all its data will be erased permanently.
