How to Delete a Coinbase Wallet Address

Coinbase is a popular cryptocurrency exchange that allows users to buy, sell, and store digital assets. Each Coinbase user has a unique wallet address that is used to receive and send cryptocurrency. In some cases, you may need to delete a Coinbase wallet address. Here are the steps on how to do so:

Note: Deleting a Coinbase wallet address is a permanent action. Once an address is deleted, it cannot be recovered.

  1. Log in to your Coinbase account.
  2. Click on the "Accounts" tab.
  3. Select the wallet that contains the address you want to delete.
  4. Click on the "Addresses" tab.
  5. Find the address you want to delete and click on the "Delete" button.
  6. Confirm that you want to delete the address by clicking on the "Delete" button again.
  7. The address will now be deleted from your Coinbase account.

Additional Notes:

  • You can only delete wallet addresses that are not currently being used to store any cryptocurrency.
  • If you have any pending transactions associated with the address you want to delete, you will need to cancel those transactions before you can delete the address.
  • Deleting a wallet address will not delete any of the cryptocurrency that is stored in that address. The cryptocurrency will still be available in your Coinbase account, but you will need to use a different address to access it.
