How to Check Whether a Trezor Transaction Has Been Confirmed on the Blockchain?

Trezor硬件钱包本地完成交易签名,不存储历史或确认状态;确认由区块链网络决定,需通过Trezor Suite或区块浏览器(如mempool.space)实时查看——安全、离线、精准。

Oct 12, 2026 at 12:20 am

Understanding Transaction Confirmation

1. A Trezor device itself does not store or display blockchain confirmation status — it only signs transactions locally. Once signed, the transaction must be broadcast to the network via a compatible wallet interface or block explorer.

2. The confirmation process begins when the signed transaction is submitted to a node or service such as Trezor Suite, Blockstream Green, or a third-party API like Blockchair or Mempool.space.

3. Each blockchain defines its own confirmation criteria: Bitcoin requires six confirmations for high-value transfers, while Ethereum considers a transaction reasonably secure after 12–30 blocks depending on gas conditions and network congestion.

4. Confirmations are counted by how many subsequent blocks have been mined on top of the block containing your transaction. This number increases incrementally as new blocks are added to the chain.

5. Unconfirmed transactions remain in the mempool until miners include them in a block. Delays may occur due to low fee rates, especially during peak network activity.

Using Trezor Suite to Monitor Status

1. Open Trezor Suite and ensure your device is connected and unlocked. Navigate to the “Accounts” tab and select the relevant cryptocurrency account.

2. Scroll down to the “Transaction History” section. Locate the specific transaction by date, amount, or receiving address.

3. Click on the transaction row to expand details. The interface displays real-time status: “Pending”, “Confirmed”, or “Failed”.

4. If confirmed, the UI shows the block height and timestamp. A green checkmark icon appears next to the entry.

5. Hovering over the confirmation count reveals a tooltip indicating the exact number of confirmations received so far.

Verifying via Blockchain Explorers

1. In Trezor Suite, click the “View on blockchain” link beside any transaction. This opens the default explorer (e.g., Blockstream.info for Bitcoin) with the transaction hash preloaded.

2. Alternatively, manually copy the transaction ID (TXID) from the transaction detail page and paste it into explorers such as mempool.space, blockstream.info, or etherscan.io.

3. The explorer renders full metadata: input/output addresses, fee amount, block inclusion status, time since broadcast, and current confirmation count.

4. For Bitcoin, look for the “Status” field — values like “in mempool”, “confirmed in block #XXXXXX”, or “12 confirmations” indicate progression.

5. On Ethereum, verify the “Confirmations” value and cross-check with the “Block Number” and “Age” fields to assess finality risk.

Common Issues and Troubleshooting

1. If no confirmation appears after several hours, check whether the transaction fee was set too low using the “Fee Rate” indicator in Trezor Suite before broadcasting.

2. Some wallets allow transaction replacement via RBF (Replace-by-Fee) if enabled at broadcast time. This option lets users increase fees without resubmitting the entire transaction.

3. Double-spend attempts may cause conflicting entries in explorers — always verify that the TXID matches exactly and that no alternate version exists with higher fee priority.

4. Hardware disconnection during signing does not invalidate the transaction if it was already broadcast; however, it prevents further interaction until reconnected.

5. Network forks or reorgs may temporarily reduce confirmation counts — especially on smaller chains — though this is rare on Bitcoin and Ethereum mainnets.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q1. Can I speed up a Trezor transaction after it’s been sent?Yes — if the original transaction was created with RBF support enabled in Trezor Suite, you can use the “Increase fee” function to rebroadcast with a higher rate.

Q2. Why does my Trezor show “Confirmed” but the explorer shows fewer confirmations?Trezor Suite may label a transaction as “Confirmed” once it appears in a block, even if only one confirmation has occurred. Explorers report precise numbers based on live chain data.

Q3. Does Trezor store transaction history on the device? No — Trezor devices do not retain transaction records. All history is maintained by the software wallet interface or external services.

Q4. What happens if I lose internet access after signing but before broadcasting? The signed transaction remains in memory on your computer or mobile device until manually broadcast. No data is lost unless the raw transaction hex is discarded.
