How to Back Up Your OKX Wallet1. Open the OKX App

Download the OKX app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
If you already have the app installed, open it.

2. Go to the "Account" Page

Tap on the "Account" icon located at the bottom right-hand corner of the screen.

3. Select "Wallet Management"

Under the "Account" page, tap on "Wallet Management."

4. Choose "Backup Wallet"

On the "Wallet Management" page, tap on the "Backup Wallet" option.

5. Read the Disclaimer

Read the disclaimer and tap on "Continue" to proceed.

6. Set a Password

Enter a strong password and confirm it. This password will be used to encrypt your wallet backup.

7. Write Down the Mnemonic Phrase

OKX will generate a 12-word mnemonic phrase. Write down these words in order on a piece of paper. Store this paper in a safe place.
The mnemonic phrase is used to recover your wallet if you lose or damage your device. Therefore, it is crucial to keep this safe.

8. Confirm the Mnemonic Phrase

Re-enter the mnemonic phrase to confirm it.

9. Tap "Backup Complete"

Once you have confirmed the mnemonic phrase, tap on "Backup complete."

10. Store Your Backup Safely

Keep the paper with the mnemonic phrase in a safe and secure location. Do not store it digitally or on your device.

11. Test Your Backup

To test your backup, create a new OKX account and import your wallet using the mnemonic phrase. If you can access your funds in the new account, your backup is successful.
