How to Add XMR to MetaMaskPrerequisites:

Install MetaMask and create a new wallet if you don't already have one.
Obtain XMR (Monero) from a reputable cryptocurrency exchange or wallet.

Step 1: Install the XMR Addon for MetaMask

Open the MetaMask extension in your browser.
Click the "Add to Chrome" (or equivalent for your browser) button.
Search for "XMR Addon for MetaMask" in the Chrome Web Store.
Click "Add to MetaMask" and confirm the installation.

Step 2: Configure the XMR RPC

Open the MetaMask extension and click the "Settings" icon.
Navigate to the "Networks" tab.
Click "Add Network."
In the "Network Name" field, enter "XMR Mainnet."
In the "New RPC URL" field, enter the following:

https://mainnet-rpc.xmr.io

Leave the remaining fields blank.
Click "Save."

Step 3: Enable the Ledger Nano Hardware Wallet

Connect your Ledger Nano hardware wallet to your computer.
Install the Monero (XMR) app on your Ledger device.
Open the Monero app and navigate to "Settings."
Enable the "MetaMask Contract Data" option.

Step 4: Send XMR to Your MetaMask Address

Copy your MetaMask XMR address from the "Account 1" tab.
Open the Monero GUI wallet or exchange interface from which you obtained XMR.
Initiate a withdrawal transaction to the MetaMask address you copied.
Wait for the transaction to be confirmed on the blockchain.

Step 5: Verify the XMR Balance in MetaMask

Refresh the MetaMask extension.
Click on the "Assets" tab.
If the XMR addon is installed and configured correctly, you will see your XMR balance displayed along with other cryptocurrencies.
