How to Add Tron Network to MetaMask

MetaMask is a popular cryptocurrency wallet that supports multiple blockchains, including the Ethereum blockchain and the Tron blockchain. To use the Tron blockchain with MetaMask, you need to add the Tron network to your MetaMask wallet. Here are the steps on how to do it:

1. Open your MetaMask wallet:

  • Go to metamask.io and click on the "Download" button.
  • Install the MetaMask extension on your browser.
  • Create a new MetaMask wallet or import an existing one.

2. Click on the "Networks" tab:

  • In the MetaMask wallet, click on the "Networks" tab located at the top of the screen.

3. Click on the "Add Network" button:

  • Click on the "Add Network" button at the bottom of the "Networks" tab.

4. Enter the Tron network details:

  • In the "Network Name" field, enter "Tron Mainnet."
  • In the "RPC URL" field, enter "https://rpc.tron.network."
  • In the "Chain ID" field, enter "1."
  • In the "Symbol" field, enter "TRX."
  • In the "Block Explorer URL" field, enter "https://tronscan.org/#/."

5. Click on the "Save" button:

  • After entering the Tron network details, click on the "Save" button.

6. Switch to the Tron network:

  • To switch to the Tron network, click on the network dropdown menu at the top of the screen and select "Tron Mainnet."

Congratulations, you have successfully added the Tron network to your MetaMask wallet!

You can now use MetaMask to interact with the Tron blockchain, including sending and receiving TRX, and interacting with Tron-based decentralized applications (dApps).
