How to Add Tron Mainnet (TRX) to MetaMask

Step 1: Install MetaMask

• Visit the MetaMask website: https://metamask.io/
• Click "Download" and follow the instructions to install MetaMask as a browser extension.

Step 2: Create a MetaMask Wallet

• Click "Create a Wallet" and follow the prompts to generate a new wallet address and password.
• Store your seed phrase securely, as it is the only way to recover your funds if you lose access to your MetaMask account.

Step 3: Add Tron Mainnet to MetaMask

• Open MetaMask and click the "Networks" tab.

• Click "Add Network" and enter the following information:

  • Network Name: Tron Mainnet
  • New RPC URL: https://mainnet.tron.network
  • ChainID: 1
  • Symbol: TRX
  • Block Explorer URL: https://tronscan.org

Step 4: Import TRX Token

• Click on the "Assets" tab in MetaMask.
• Click the "Import Tokens" button and in the Search bar, type "Tronix (TRX)".
• Select "Tronix (TRX)" and click "Import" to add TRX to your MetaMask wallet.

Step 5: Verify Tron Mainnet Addition

• Visit https://tronscan.org/
• Click the "Networks" tab and select "Tron Mainnet".
• Enter your MetaMask wallet address in the search bar to verify that you can view your TRX balance and transaction history on the Tron Mainnet.
