How to Add Solana Network to Bitget Wallet

Step 1: Download and Install Bitget Wallet
  • Visit the official Bitget website and download the wallet app for your preferred device.
  • Install the wallet and create a new account if you don't have one.
Step 2: Access Asset Management
  • Once logged in, click on the "Assets" tab at the bottom of the screen.
  • Tap the "Add Asset" button and select "Chain."
Step 3: Search for Solana
  • In the search bar, type "Solana" and select "SOL-SPL Token" from the results.
  • Please note that Solana's native token is SOL, and it uses the SPL (Solana Program Library) token standard.
Step 4: Enable Solana Network
  • After selecting SOL, toggle on the "Enable" switch next to the name "Solana Network."
  • This will add the Solana network to your Bitget wallet.
Step 5: Disable Existing ERC-20 Network
  • If you previously had the ERC-20 SOL token added to your wallet, you will need to disable it.
  • Click on the "Network" tab for the existing SOL asset and select "Manage."
  • Toggle off the "Enable" switch for the "ERC-20 Network."
Step 6: Verify Solana Network
  • To ensure that the Solana network is successfully added, navigate to the "Assets" tab again.
  • You should now see "SOL-SPL Token" listed under the "Solana Network" section.
Additional Tips:
  • Ensure that you have a small amount of SOL in your wallet to cover any transaction fees.
  • Solana transactions are typically fast and have low fees.
  • Always send SOL from a Solana wallet to a Solana address and vice versa. Sending SOL from an ERC-20 address to a Solana address may result in fund loss.
