How to Add Shiba Inu Mainnet (SHIB) to MetaMask

Shiba Inu Mainnet (SHIB) is an ERC-20 token that can be stored and managed in MetaMask, a popular cryptocurrency wallet. Adding SHIB to MetaMask is a simple process that can be completed in a few steps.

Prerequisites:

Install MetaMask on your browser or mobile device.
Create a MetaMask wallet or import an existing one.

Instructions:

Navigate to the Custom Token Tab:
- Open MetaMask and click on the "Assets" tab.
- Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on the "Add Token" button.
- Select the "Custom Token" tab.
Enter SHIB Contract Address:
- In the "Token Contract Address" field, enter the SHIB mainnet contract address: 0x95ad61b0a150d79219dcf64e1e6cc01f0b64c4ce
Enter SHIB Token Details:
- In the "Token Symbol" field, enter SHIB.
- In the "Token Decimal" field, enter 18 (the number of decimal places for SHIB).
Add SHIB Token:
- Click on the "Add Token" button to add the SHIB token to your MetaMask wallet.
- You will see SHIB displayed in the list of assets in your wallet.

Additional Notes:

Make sure you input the correct contract address to avoid adding a scam token or losing your funds.
MetaMask may require you to confirm the addition of SHIB to your wallet.
