MATIC is the native currency of the Polygon Network. if you want to be able to use DeFi apps on Polygon with your MetaMask wallet, you will need to add WMATIC to the wallet.
To do this, click the "Assets" tab in the MetaMask interface and click on the "Add Token" button. Then, enter "WMATIC" into the search bar and select "MATIC Token". Then, click the "Add Token" button.
- Deposit MATIC into your MetaMask wallet
You can now deposit MATIC into your MetaMask wallet from your Matic Network wallet. To do this, copy your MATIC public address from the Matic Network website. Then, click on the "Send" button in the MetaMask interface and paste your MATIC public address into the "To" field. Enter the amount of MATIC you want to deposit and click the "Next" button. Then, confirm the transaction and click on the "Transfer" button.
