How to Add Funds to Exodus Wallet
Step 1: Open the Exodus Wallet App
- Open the Exodus wallet application on your device.
Step 2: Go to the Receive Tab
- At the bottom of the app's home screen, tap on the "Receive" tab.
Step 3: Select the Crypto asset you wish to Receive
- From the list of available cryptocurrencies, select the one you want to add funds to. For example, let's choose Bitcoin (BTC).
Step 4: Copy the Receiving Address
- Tap on the "Copy Address" button to copy the unique receiving address for your selected cryptocurrency. This address is where you will send your funds from external sources.
Step 5: Send Funds to the Receiving Address
- Go to your preferred exchange or wallet where you hold the funds you want to transfer.
- Initiate a withdrawal transaction and input the receiving address you copied from Exodus.
- Specify the amount you wish to transfer and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the transaction.
Step 6: Confirm the Transaction
- Once the transaction is initiated, it typically takes some time (depending on the cryptocurrency) for the funds to be deposited into your Exodus wallet.
- You can track the transaction's progress on the blockchain explorer using the transaction hash provided by the exchange or wallet.
Step 7: Funds Reflected in Exodus Wallet
- Once the transaction is confirmed on the blockchain, the funds will be credited to your Exodus wallet.
- You can check your wallet balance by opening the "Receive" tab and selecting the relevant cryptocurrency.
