How to add Fantom Mainnet (FTM) to MetaMask.
By adding Fantom Mainnet to MetaMask, users can leverage the FTM network and engage with a wide array of decentralized applications.

MetaMask is a popular cryptocurrency wallet used to interact with decentralized applications and store digital assets. Adding Fantom Mainnet to MetaMask allows users to access and manage FTM tokens and interact with dApps built on the Fantom network.
Step 1: Install MetaMask- Visit the MetaMask website (https://metamask.io/) and click "Download."
- Follow the instructions to install the extension or mobile app for your device.
- Once MetaMask is installed, create a new account by following the prompts.
- Securely store your Secret Recovery Phrase, a list of 12 randomly generated words.
- Open MetaMask and click on the "Networks" tab.
- Click on "Add Network."
- Enter the following details in the provided fields:
Network Name: Fantom OperaNew RPC URL: https://rpc.ftm.tools/Chain ID: 250Currency Symbol: FTMBlock Explorer URL: https://ftmscan.com
- Click on "Save."
- Return to the MetaMask main screen.
- Click on the "Add Token" button.
- Search for "FTM" or paste the FTM contract address (0x4e15361fd6b4bb609fa63c81a2be19d873717870) into the search bar.
- Click on "Next" and then "Add Tokens."
Your Fantom Mainnet and FTM tokens are now accessible in MetaMask.
