How to Add Aave Mainnet (AAVE) to MetaMask

Step 1: Install MetaMask

Visit the MetaMask website and download the browser extension for your preferred browser (Chrome, Firefox, Edge, Brave).
Create a new wallet or import an existing one.

Step 2: Add Aave Mainnet to MetaMask

Open MetaMask and click on the "Networks" tab.
Click on the "Add Network" button.
In the "Network Name" field, enter "Aave Mainnet".
In the "New RPC URL" field, enter the following address: https://mainnet.optimism.io
In the "Chain ID" field, enter "10".
In the "Currency Symbol" field, enter "ETH".
In the "Block Explorer URL" field, enter the following address: https://optimistic.etherscan.io
Click on the "Save" button.

Step 3: Add AAVE Token to MetaMask

Click on the "Assets" tab in MetaMask.
Click on the "Add Token" button.
In the "Search" field, enter "AAVE".
Select "Aave" from the list of results.
Click on the "Add Token" button.

Step 4: Confirm the Addition

You will see a confirmation message in MetaMask.
Click on the "Confirm" button to complete the addition of Aave Mainnet and the AAVE token to MetaMask.
