How to Activate Trust Wallet

1. Download Trust Wallet

  • Visit the official Trust Wallet website or app store (Google Play for Android, App Store for iOS).
  • Download and install the Trust Wallet app on your device.

2. Create a New Wallet

  • When you open the app for the first time, you will be prompted to create a new wallet.
  • Click on "Create a new wallet."
  • Set a strong password for your wallet.

3. Backup Your Recovery Phrase

  • A 12-word recovery phrase will be generated.
  • Write down or save a copy of this phrase in a safe place. This phrase is crucial for recovering your wallet if you lose access to it.

4. Enable Transaction Signing

  • Tap on the "Settings" icon in the bottom right corner of the app.
  • Scroll down and toggle on the "Transaction Signing" option.
  • This feature will prevent malicious apps from accessing your wallet and sending transactions without your authorization.

5. Activate Your Wallet

  • Once you have set up transaction signing, you will see the "Activate wallet" button on the main screen.
  • Click on it and enter the recovery phrase you backed up in step 3.
  • You will receive a verification email or SMS. Enter the code to complete the activation.

Congratulations! Your Trust Wallet is now activated and ready to use.

Additional Tips:

  • Use a strong and unique password for your wallet.
  • Keep your recovery phrase safe and never share it with anyone.
  • Regularly check your wallet for any suspicious activity.
  • Be aware of phishing scams and only access your wallet through the official Trust Wallet app.
