How to Receive ETH in SafePal? How to Find Your Ethereum Deposit Address?
To receive ETH in SafePal, open the app, go to Assets > ETH > Receive, verify your 0x address matches Etherscan, and ensure it’s Ethereum Mainnet—never reuse across chains.

Accessing Your Ethereum Wallet in SafePal
1. Open the SafePal mobile application and log in to your existing wallet or create a new one using a secure 12-word recovery phrase.
2. Navigate to the “Assets” tab located at the bottom navigation bar.
3. Scroll through the list of supported tokens or use the search bar to locate “Ethereum (ETH)”.
4. Tap on the ETH entry to enter the dedicated Ethereum wallet interface.
5. Ensure that the network displayed is Ethereum Mainnet — not a testnet or alternative layer like Arbitrum or Polygon.
Locating Your ETH Deposit Address
1. Inside the ETH wallet screen, tap the “Receive” button — typically represented by a downward arrow icon or labeled explicitly.
2. A QR code will appear alongside a 42-character hexadecimal address beginning with “0x”.
This address is your unique Ethereum deposit address and is valid only for ETH and ERC-20 tokens compatible with Ethereum Mainnet.3. Verify the full address manually by comparing the first six and last four characters before initiating any transfer.
4. Do not use this same address for deposits on other chains — sending ETH to an address derived from another network will result in permanent loss.
Security Protocols for ETH Deposits
1. SafePal generates deterministic addresses via BIP-44 derivation paths, ensuring reproducibility across devices if the seed phrase remains intact.
2. The app does not store private keys on remote servers — all cryptographic operations occur locally on the user’s device.
3. Each ETH deposit triggers on-chain validation; confirmations are visible under the “Transaction History” section once miners include the transaction in a block.
Never share your private key or recovery phrase with anyone — SafePal support staff will never request these credentials.Compatibility and Network Requirements
1. ETH received must originate from Ethereum Mainnet — deposits from wrapped ETH (WETH) on other chains require bridging and are unsupported for direct receipt.
2. Gas fees for incoming ETH transfers are borne by the sender; no fee deduction occurs upon receipt in SafePal.
3. Minimum deposit threshold does not apply — even fractional ETH amounts below 0.001 ETH will appear after confirmation.
Transactions sent to your SafePal ETH address may take between 15 seconds and 5 minutes to reflect, depending on current network congestion and gas price settings used by the sender.Frequently Asked Questions
Q1: Can I receive ETH on my SafePal wallet using a Ledger hardware device connected via Bluetooth?SafePal does not support external hardware wallet integration for receiving ETH — all deposit addresses are generated natively within the SafePal app using its own key management system.
Q2: Is it safe to reuse the same ETH deposit address multiple times?Yes. SafePal Ethereum addresses are designed for repeated use; each address remains valid indefinitely unless manually deleted or the wallet is reset.
Q3: Why does my ETH balance show zero even after confirming the transaction on Etherscan? This may occur if the transaction was sent to a different network — verify the TX hash on etherscan.io, not polygonscan.com or arbiscan.io. Also ensure the recipient address matches exactly.
Q4: Does SafePal support receiving ETH through ENS names? No. SafePal currently does not resolve ENS domains during deposit — only raw hexadecimal addresses are accepted for ETH receipt.
