How to Find a Transaction ID (TXID) on the Blockchain
Open a Block Explorer:
Access a reliable block explorer such as Etherscan, BscScan, or Polygonscan, depending on the blockchain you're dealing with.
Specify the Transaction Type:
Indicate whether you're searching for a specific type of transaction, such as a regular transfer, token swap, or smart contract call.
Enter the Relevant Information:
Depending on the blockchain and transaction type, you may need to provide the following details:
- Wallet address
- Contract address
- Block number
Search for the Transaction:
Input the relevant information into the search bar and click "Search," "Explore," or a similar action button.
Identify the TXID:
The transaction details page will display the Transaction ID (TXID). It typically appears as a long string of hexadecimal characters.
Confirm the Validity of the TXID:
Ensure that the TXID is correct by comparing it with the transaction you're interested in. The TXID should directly relate to that specific transaction.
Example:
To find a transaction ID for an Ethereum transaction:
- Visit Etherscan.io
- Select "Explore" and choose "Transactions"
- Enter the wallet address or contract address
- Filter by date and time if necessary
- Locate the transaction and click on it
- The Transaction ID will be displayed on the transaction details page

Apr 29,2025 at 06:36pm
Introduction to zk-Rollupzk-Rollup is a layer-2 scaling solution designed to enhance the scalability and privacy of blockchain networks. It operates by bundling multiple transactions off-chain into a single transaction that is then recorded on the main blockchain. This method significantly reduces the load on the blockchain, allowing for faster and chea...

These three aspects are crucial for the success and widespread adoption of any blockchain network. However, achieving all th...

What is an EVM-compatible chain for blockchain? What are the advantages?
Apr 30,2025 at 01:57am
An EVM-compatible chain refers to a blockchain that supports the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM). The EVM is a crucial component of the Ethereum network, allowing smart contracts to be executed in a decentralized manner. By being EVM-compatible, other blockchains can run Ethereum's smart contracts and decentralized applications (dApps) natively, thereby ...
