  2. Write down the recovery phrase on paper and store it in a safe place.
  3. Click on "I have saved my Recovery Phrase safely" and continue.

Step 5: Choose an Initial Block Height (Optional)

  1. Blockchain allows you to specify an initial block height, which signals which blockchain your wallet will connect to.
  2. The recommended block height is the latest one, but you may choose a different block height if necessary.
  3. Click on "Connect to Mainnet."

Step 6: Protect Your Blockchain Wallet

  1. Consider enabling two-factor authentication (2FA) for added security.
  2. Encrypt your wallet file with a password for increased protection.
  3. Store your wallet in a secure location, such as a cold storage device or a hardware wallet.

Congratulations! You have successfully installed the Blockchain software and created a wallet. You can now start using Blockchain to manage your cryptocurrency transactions.
