How to Sell an NFT on Zora
Step 1: Create a Zora Account
Visit https://app.zora.co/ and click "Create" to establish an account. If you have an existing Ethereum wallet, you can connect it.
Step 2: Mint Your NFT
Generate your NFT on a preferred platform, such as OpenSea, Rarible, or SuperRare. Grant Zora access to your wallet by selecting it as the marketplace when minting.
Step 3: Upload Your NFT to Zora
a. Import from OpenSea:
- Navigate to your NFT on OpenSea.
- Click "Sell."
- Choose "Other Marketplace" and input "app.zora.co."
- Transfer your NFT and set the price.
b. Import from Ethereum:
- Connect your wallet to Zora.
- Click "Create" and select "From Ethereum."
- Paste the token contract address and token ID.
- Set the price.
Step 4: Create a Drop
a. Single Edition:
- Click "Create" and select "Single."
- Provide a title, description, and media.
- Set the price and expiration date.
b. Edition:
- Click "Create" and select "Edition."
- Establish the total number of editions, price, and expiration date.
Step 5: List Your NFT
a. Variable Price Auction:
- Set a starting price, minimum price, and auction expiration date.
- Buyers can bid any amount over the minimum price.
b. Open Edition Open Auction:
- Select a starting price and auction expiration date.
- Buyers can purchase an unlimited number of editions of your NFT.
Step 6: Finalize the Sale
Once the auction ends or a buyer purchases your NFT:
- Zora will process the payment and transfer the NFT to the buyer.
- You will receive your earnings minus any Zora transaction fees.
Additional Tips:
- Describe your NFT thoroughly and include high-quality images or videos.
- Set a competitive price based on market demand.
- Promote your drop on social media to attract potential buyers.
- Utilize Zora's built-in referral system to earn additional rewards.
