How to setup a RavenMiner account for RVN? (PPLNS vs PPS)
在RavenMiner注册挖矿账户:访问官网→设用户名密码→填有效RVN钱包地址(仅接受“R”/“X”开头、90天内有交易的官方钱包地址)→选语言及时区→完成CAPTCHA即获API密钥。(155字)

Account Registration Process
1. Visit the official RavenMiner website and navigate to the sign-up page. No email verification is required during initial registration.
2. Enter a unique username and strong password. Avoid reusing credentials from other mining platforms.
3. Input your Ravencoin wallet address in the designated field. This address must be fully functional and support incoming RVN transfers.
4. Select your preferred language and timezone to ensure accurate dashboard timestamps and payout notifications.
5. Complete the CAPTCHA challenge and click “Create Account”. The system generates an API key automatically upon successful registration.
Wallet Address Validation Requirements
1. Only addresses generated by official Ravencoin wallets are accepted — including RVN Core, Electrum-RVN, and mobile wallets listed on ravencoin.org/wallet/.
2. Addresses starting with “R” or “X” are valid; those beginning with “r” or “x” are rejected as case-sensitive validation is enforced.
3. The platform performs real-time blockchain confirmation: it verifies that the address has received at least one transaction within the last 90 days.
4. Multi-signature or hardware wallet addresses require manual approval via support ticket submission before activation.
5. Invalid or unconfirmed addresses trigger immediate rejection with error code RVN-ADDR-406 and halt further setup steps.
PPLNS Payment Structure
1. Shares submitted within the last 24 hours determine reward distribution — not total historical shares.
2. Each share carries weight proportional to network difficulty at time of submission.
3. Payouts occur only after a block is confirmed and included in the Ravencoin blockchain.
4. Minimum payout threshold is set at 100 RVN; balances below this remain pending until accumulation reaches the threshold.
5. Historical share decay begins 30 minutes after submission, reducing weight linearly until full expiration at 24 hours.
PPS Payment Mechanics
1. Every valid share earns a fixed RVN amount calculated from current block reward, network difficulty, and pool fee percentage.
2. Payments are issued every 30 minutes regardless of whether a block is found — enabling predictable cash flow.
3. The platform absorbs variance risk: miners receive consistent returns even during prolonged dry spells.
4. A 1.5% pool fee applies to all PPS payouts, deducted before disbursement.
5. Unpaid balances accumulate interest at 0.00002 RVN per hour until payout threshold of 50 RVN is reached.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Can I switch between PPLNS and PPS after account creation?A: Yes. Navigate to Settings → Payment Method and select the desired model. Changes take effect immediately for new shares but do not retroactively alter prior submissions.
Q: Is there a lock-in period for newly registered accounts?A: No lock-in exists. However, accounts inactive for more than 72 consecutive hours have their API keys deactivated until manual reactivation.
Q: Does RavenMiner support merged mining with other KAWPOW-based coins?A: No. RavenMiner exclusively mines RVN. Merged mining configurations are blocked at the protocol layer to prevent invalid share submissions.
Q: Are worker names case-sensitive in the dashboard?A: Yes. “Worker01”, “worker01”, and “WORKER01” are treated as three distinct identifiers with separate statistics and payout tracking.
