Bybit platform funds transfer operation guide

  • Preparation

    • Ensure account security : To ensure the security of the fund transfer process, multiple security measures must be taken for two Bybit accounts. After logging in to the account, enter the account settings page and enable two-factor authentication (2FA). You can choose to verify through Google Authenticator or SMS verification code. Set high-strength passwords, including upper and lower case letters, numbers and special characters, and avoid the same passwords as other platform passwords.

    • Confirm the account status is normal : Check whether the two accounts are in normal state, whether there are any abnormal situations such as restricted transactions and freezing. If there is any problem with the account, you need to contact Bybit customer service first to solve the problem. If the account is restricted due to failure to complete real-name authentication, you must submit your identity information as required by the platform to complete the authentication.

  • Initiate a transfer

    • Log in to transfer out account : Open the Bybit official website or APP, enter the account number and password of the transfer out account to log in. Click the avatar icon on the homepage to enter the personal center; click the avatar in the upper right corner of the page to select "Account Overview".

    • Find the Fund Transfer Portal : On the Personal Center or Account Overview Page of the transfer account, look for "Fund Transfer", "Transfer" or similar functional options. The APP side may be in the "Funds" or "Assets" sector; the web side may be in the "Funds Management" column.

    • Select the transfer type : After clicking on the fund transfer entrance, multiple transfer types will appear, such as "In-account transfer", "Inter-account transfer", etc., and select "Inter-account transfer".

    • Fill in the transfer account information : On the transfer page, you must fill in the transfer account information accurately. Includes the username (usually a registered email or mobile phone number) and the Bybit account ID (can be viewed in the Personal Center of the transfer account). In some cases, you may also need to choose the transaction area or account type where the account is transferred (such as spot account, contract account, etc.). Be sure to check the information carefully to avoid transferring funds to other people's accounts due to input errors.

    • Set the transfer amount and currency : Determine the amount and currency of funds to be transferred. Enter the exact amount in the amount input box. Note that some platforms may have minimum or maximum transfer amount limits. If the minimum transfer amount is 10 USDT, make sure that the input amount meets the requirements. Select the cryptocurrency currency to transfer, such as Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), etc.

  • Confirm the transaction

    • Check the transfer details : After filling in the transfer information, the transfer details will be displayed on the page, including transfer account information, transfer amount, currency, estimated arrival time, etc. Carefully check this information to ensure accuracy. If an error is found, you can click "Return" to modify it.

    • Enter the transaction password or perform secondary verification : In order to ensure the security of funds, identity verification is required. The common way is to enter a transaction password, which is the password set for fund transactions when registering an account. If two-factor authentication is enabled, you also need to enter the dynamic verification code generated by Google Authenticator or receive the SMS verification code and enter it.

    • Submit a transfer application : After completing the verification, click the "Confirm Transfer" or "Submit" button and the system will submit the transfer application. After submission, the page will display the prompt information that the transfer application has been submitted.

  • Wait for the transfer to complete and track the progress

    • Check the transfer progress : After submitting the transfer application, you can check the progress through the transaction history or transfer history of the transfer account. The APP side looks for the "Transfer Record" option on the fund page or transaction record page; the web side view it on the fund management or transaction history page. The transfer status may show "processing", "completed", "failed", etc. "Processing" means that the platform is processing transfers, and the time varies according to factors such as network conditions and blockchain confirmation speed, generally ranging from minutes to hours.

    • If the transfer is not completed for a long time : If the transfer is "processing" for a long time, you can first check whether the network connection is normal, and then contact Bybit customer service. Provide transfer time, amount, transfer and transfer account information, etc., and customer service will assist in query processing.

    • Confirm the funds to arrive : After the transfer is completed, log in to the account to check whether the funds are received. On the funds page or asset overview page that transfers to the account, check whether the balance of the corresponding currency has increased. If the account has not arrived and the transfer status shows "Completed", it may be that the system is delayed, so wait for a while or refresh the page; if it is not resolved, contact customer service.
