How to Trade ETH/USDT on Bitget? Complete Ethereum Spot Trading Tutorial

Bitget(2026年全球排名前五)支持ETH/USDT现货交易,滑点低于0.008%,现货持仓可一键转入合约账户作保证金,操作便捷安全。

Aug 27, 2026 at 08:00 pm

Accessing the ETH/USDT Trading Interface

1. Log in to your verified Bitget account and navigate to the “Trade” section from the top menu.

2. Select “Spot” to enter the spot trading dashboard, not margin or futures.

3. Use the search bar to type “ETH/USDT” and click on the corresponding trading pair.

4. Ensure the chart displays real-time price action with volume indicators enabled for accurate market assessment.

5. Confirm that order book depth and recent trade history are visible on the right-hand side of the interface.

Placing Market and Limit Orders

1. For immediate execution, locate the “Market” tab under the order entry panel and input the desired USDT amount or ETH quantity.

2. Click “Buy ETH” to execute at the best available ask price; the transaction settles instantly within the wallet balance.

3. To set a specific entry point, switch to the “Limit” tab and manually enter both price and quantity fields.

4. A limit buy order remains pending until the market price reaches or falls below the specified value.

5. All limit orders are visible in the open orders list and can be canceled before execution.

Using Advanced Order Types

1. The “Stop-Limit” function allows traders to trigger a limit order once ETH/USDT hits a predefined stop price.

2. Traders configure both the stop price and the limit price separately, ensuring precise control over entry conditions.

3. “Take-Profit” and “Stop-Loss” orders are accessible via the “Advanced” toggle and operate independently after activation.

4. These conditional orders remain active even when the platform is closed, provided the account remains logged in on a supported device.

5. Each advanced order must be reviewed for price slippage tolerance and time-in-force settings before submission.

Managing Open Positions and Trade History

1. All active orders appear under the “Open Orders” tab, where users can monitor status, remaining quantity, and average fill price.

2. Executed trades are archived in “Order History”, showing timestamp, side (buy/sell), executed price, and fee deduction details.

3. The “Trade History” tab logs every filled transaction, including partial fills across multiple price levels.

4. Users may export up to 90 days of trade records as CSV directly from the interface without third-party tools.

5. No manual reconciliation is required—the system auto-updates wallet balances upon each confirmed settlement.

Security and Asset Control Measures

1. Withdrawals require two-factor authentication confirmation, even if 2FA was previously used for login.

2. ETH transfers out of Bitget demand whitelisted addresses, which must be pre-registered and verified during setup.

3. API keys generated for trading bots must have explicit permission scopes—“trade” access does not imply “withdraw” capability.

4. Session activity logs show IP address, device fingerprint, and last login time for all concurrent connections.

5. Withdrawal requests exceeding 10 ETH per day trigger mandatory email + SMS verification regardless of prior whitelist status.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Can I place an ETH/USDT limit order while offline?A: Yes—limit orders are stored server-side and remain active until canceled or fully executed, independent of client connectivity.

Q: Why does my market order show partial fills across different prices?A: Market orders consume liquidity from the order book sequentially, matching against multiple resting asks at varying prices.

Q: Is there a minimum order size for ETH/USDT on Bitget?A: The minimum ETH quantity is 0.001 ETH; the minimum USDT equivalent is $10 for market orders and $5 for limit orders.

Q: Do stop-limit orders expire after triggering?A: No—they convert into standard limit orders upon reaching the stop price and persist until canceled or filled.
