Accessing the Price Alert Feature

1. Open the Bybit mobile application and log in to your account using your registered credentials.

2. Navigate to the Markets tab located at the bottom navigation bar.

3. Tap the search icon and enter the desired futures contract symbol such as BTCUSDT-PERP or ETHUSDT-PERP.

4. Select the contract from the search results to open its real-time trading interface.

5. Locate and tap the bell-shaped Alert icon positioned on the top-right corner of the chart view.

Configuring Alert Parameters

1. Choose between Price Trigger and Funding Rate Alert modes — only Price Trigger applies to futures contracts.

2. Input the exact price level at which you wish to receive notification, either above current market price for upside targets or below for downside thresholds.

3. Toggle Sound, Vibration, and Push Notification options based on your device settings and preference.

4. Select alert frequency: One-time (fires once) or Recurring (repeats every time price hits the level).

5. Confirm by tapping Set Alert; the system registers it instantly and displays it under My Alerts.

Managing Active Alerts

1. Return to the Alert icon and select My Alerts to view all configured notifications.

2. Each entry shows contract symbol, trigger price, direction arrow (↑ or ↓), and status indicator (active/inactive).

3. Swipe left on any alert to reveal Edit and Delete options without affecting other configurations.

4. Tap an active alert to see its last triggered timestamp and associated market conditions at execution time.

5. Disable global alerts temporarily via the toggle switch at the top of the My Alerts screen without deleting individual entries.

Integration with Contract-Specific Tools

1. Price alerts sync automatically with the Order Book depth panel, allowing users to cross-reference support/resistance zones before setting triggers.

2. When an alert fires, a pop-up displays current funding rate, 24h change, and liquidation heatmap overlay on the chart.

3. Alerts remain active even when the app is running in background mode, provided iOS/Android permissions for background refresh are enabled.

4. No additional subscription or premium tier is required — this functionality is available to all verified Bybit accounts at no extra cost.

5. Alerts function identically across both perpetual and quarterly futures contracts, including inverse and USDT-margined variants.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Can I set price alerts for multiple futures contracts simultaneously?Yes. There is no hard limit on the number of concurrent alerts. Users commonly maintain over 20 active triggers across BTC, ETH, SOL, and XRP perpetuals.

Q: Do price alerts work during maintenance windows or exchange downtime? No. Alerts depend on live market data feeds. During scheduled or unscheduled maintenance, notifications will pause until connectivity resumes.

Q: Is there a delay between price hitting the trigger and alert delivery?Typical latency ranges from 800ms to 1.7 seconds depending on device network stability and server load. It does not exceed 2 seconds under normal operation.

Q: Can I export my alert history or generate reports? Not directly within the mobile app. Export functionality exists only via Bybit’s web platform under Account > Notifications > Alert History.
