How to Set Up a Dubai OKX Key

Step 1: Access Your OKX Account

• Visit the official OKX website at www.okx.com and log in to your account.

Step 2: Navigate to Dubai Key Settings

• Click on the "Account" icon in the top right corner.
• Select "Security" from the dropdown menu.
• Scroll down and click on "Dubai Key" under the "Multi-Factor Authentication" section.

Step 3: Enable Dubai Key

• Click on the "Enable" button.
• Read the terms and conditions carefully and check the box to agree.
• Click on "Confirm" to enable the Dubai Key.

Step 4: Set Up Your Dubai Key

• You will be prompted to enter a 6-digit PIN code. Create a strong and memorable PIN.
• Confirm the PIN you entered.
• OKX will generate a QR code for your Dubai Key. Scan this code using a mobile device that has the Google Authenticator or Microsoft Authenticator app installed.
• Enter the 6-digit code generated by the authenticator app into the "Verification Code" field.
• Click on "Bind" to complete the setup process.

Step 5: Test Your Dubai Key

• To verify that your Dubai Key is set up correctly, click on "Verify" in the Dubai Key settings.
• Enter the 6-digit code generated by the authenticator app and click on "Confirm."

Step 6: Deactivate Dubai Key (Optional)

• If you need to deactivate your Dubai Key, follow these steps:

  • Navigate to the Dubai Key settings as described in Step 2.
  • Click on the "Disable" button.
• Enter your OKX password and click on "Confirm" to deactivate the Dubai Key.

Note:

• The Dubai Key is an additional security measure that enhances the protection of your OKX account. It is recommended to enable it for increased account security.
• Keep your Dubai Key QR code and PIN secure. Do not share them with anyone.
