How to Set Conditional Orders on Bitget Futures?

Bitget期货支持止盈、止损及止限三种条件单:触发价基于标记价格设定,长仓止损需低于现价、止盈则高于现价,所有订单均兼容全仓/逐仓模式。(155字)

Understanding Conditional Order Types

1. Bitget Futures supports three primary conditional order types: Stop Order, Take Profit Order, and Stop-Limit Order.

2. A Stop Order triggers a market order when the last traded price reaches or crosses a predefined trigger price.

3. A Take Profit Order executes a market order once the market price moves favorably to a specified level, locking in gains automatically.

4. A Stop-Limit Order combines both stop and limit logic — it becomes active upon hitting the trigger price but only fills at the designated limit price or better.

5. All conditional orders can be placed for both long and short positions, and are compatible with isolated and cross margin modes.

Navigating the Conditional Order Interface

1. Log into your Bitget account and go to the Futures trading interface.

2. Select the desired trading pair and ensure you’re on the “Advanced” order panel — the basic panel does not display conditional order options.

3. Click the “+” icon next to the order type selector to expand advanced order types.

4. Choose “Stop”, “Take Profit”, or “Stop-Limit” from the dropdown menu.

5. The UI dynamically updates to show fields for trigger price, limit price (if applicable), order size, and leverage settings.

Setting Trigger Parameters Accurately

1. Trigger price must be set relative to the current mark price — not the last price — to avoid premature activation during volatility spikes.

2. For long positions, stop orders require a trigger price below the current mark price; take profit orders require a trigger above it.

3. For short positions, the inverse applies: stop triggers must be above the mark price, while take profit triggers must be below.

4. Bitget displays real-time mark price and funding rate in the top bar — these values directly influence conditional order execution logic.

5. Slippage tolerance can be adjusted per order, with default set to 0.5% — higher values increase fill probability but reduce price control.

Managing Active Conditional Orders

1. All pending conditional orders appear under the “Conditional Orders” tab in the “Orders” section, separate from open positions and regular limit orders.

2. Each entry shows status (“Pending”, “Triggered”, “Filled”, “Cancelled”), trigger price, order type, and remaining validity period.

3. Users may modify the trigger price or cancel the order before activation — no changes are allowed after triggering begins.

4. Bitget enforces a maximum of 20 active conditional orders per trading pair to prevent system overload during high-frequency events.

5. Historical conditional order records remain visible for 90 days in the “Order History” panel, including timestamps of trigger and fill events.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q1: Can I place a conditional order while holding an open position?Yes. Bitget allows concurrent conditional orders alongside active positions. The system evaluates triggers independently of existing exposure.

Q2: What happens if my account balance falls below maintenance margin after a conditional order triggers? The triggered order will still execute, but subsequent liquidation risk increases immediately. No automatic margin call is issued before execution.

Q3: Do conditional orders work during maintenance windows or exchange downtime? No. Conditional orders are suspended during scheduled maintenance. Any untriggered orders remain pending until service resumes.

Q4: Is there a fee difference between conditional and regular market orders? No. Fees follow standard taker/maker structure. Triggering a conditional order incurs the same fee as placing the equivalent market order manually.
