How to Sell ETH on OKX

Step 1: Log in to Your OKX Account

  • Visit the OKX website and enter your login credentials, including your username and password.
  • If you don't have an account, you can sign up for a free account.

Step 2: Go to the "Sell" Page

  • Once logged in, hover over the "Trading" tab in the navigation bar and select "Sell."

Step 3: Select "ETH/USD" Market

  • On the "Sell" page, select the "ETH/USD" market from the drop-down menu at the top of the page. This market pairs Ethereum (ETH) with the US dollar (USD).

Step 4: Enter the Amount of ETH You Want to Sell

  • In the "Sell ETH" field, enter the amount of ETH you want to sell.
  • You can also adjust the "Price" field to specify the price at which you want to sell your ETH.

Step 5: Choose the Order Type

  • Select the order type you want to create. The "Market Order" option allows you to sell your ETH at the current market price, while the "Limit Order" option lets you specify the price at which you want to sell.

Step 6: Click "Sell"

  • Once you've entered all the necessary information, click the "Sell" button.
  • If you're creating a market order, your ETH will be sold immediately. If you're creating a limit order, your order will be placed on the order book and executed when the market price reaches your specified price.

Additional Tips:

  • You can view your open orders in the "My Orders" section of the "Trading" tab.
  • You can cancel your orders at any time before they are executed.
  • Monitor the market closely to determine the best time to sell your ETH.
  • Consider using a stop-loss order to protect your profits in case of a sudden price decline.
