How to Play Leverage Trading on DigiFinex
DigiFinex, a leading cryptocurrency exchange, offers leverage trading services to its users. Leverage trading allows traders to multiply their potential profits (and losses) by borrowing funds from the exchange. This can be a powerful tool for experienced traders, but it is important to use it carefully as it can also lead to significant losses.
Step 1: Open a DigiFinex Account
To start leverage trading on DigiFinex, you will need to first open an account. You can do this by visiting the DigiFinex website and clicking on the "Sign Up" link. You will need to provide some basic information, such as your name, email address, and phone number. Once you have created an account, you will need to verify your email address and phone number.
Step 2: Fund Your Account
Once you have opened an account, you will need to fund it with cryptocurrency. You can do this by depositing cryptocurrency into your account or by purchasing cryptocurrency with a credit or debit card.
Step 3: Enable Leverage Trading
Before you can start leverage trading, you will need to enable it in your account. To do this, click on the "Settings" link in the top right corner of the screen and then click on the "Leverage Trading" tab. On this page, you will need to select the leverage level that you want to use. You can choose from a variety of leverage levels, ranging from 2x to 100x.
Step 4: Choose a Trading Pair
Once you have enabled leverage trading in your account, you will need to choose a trading pair. A trading pair is a pair of cryptocurrencies that you can trade against each other. For example, you could choose to trade BTC/USDT, which would allow you to trade Bitcoin (BTC) against Tether (USDT).
Step 5: Place an Order
Once you have chosen a trading pair, you can start leverage trading. To do this, click on the "Trade" link in the top right corner of the screen and then click on the "Leverage Trading" tab. On this page, you will need to enter the amount of cryptocurrency that you want to trade and the leverage level that you want to use. You can then click on the "Buy" or "Sell" button to place your order.
Step 6: Monitor Your Trade
Once you have placed an order, you will need to monitor it to ensure that it is performing as expected. You can do this by clicking on the "Orders" link in the top right corner of the screen and then click on the "Leverage Trading" tab.
Step 7: Close Your Trade
When you are ready to close your trade, you can do so by clicking on the "Close" button next to your order. You will then need to confirm that you want to close your trade. Once you have confirmed, your trade will be closed and the funds will be returned to your account.
Tips for Leverage Trading
Here are a few tips for leverage trading:
- Only use leverage trading if you are an experienced trader.
- Start with a low leverage level and gradually increase it as you gain experience.
- Never trade with more money than you can afford to lose.
- Be aware of the risks of leverage trading and use it wisely.
- Monitor your trades closely and close them out if they are not performing as expected.
