How to Link Google Authenticator to KucoinStep 1: Install Google Authenticator

Download the Google Authenticator app for your iOS or Android device from the App Store or Google Play Store.

Step 2: Enable 2FA on Kucoin

Log in to your Kucoin account.
Click on the "Account" icon in the top right corner.
Select "Security Settings."
Click on the "Google Authenticator" tab.

Step 3: Scan QR Code

Open the Google Authenticator app on your device.
Click on the "+" icon and select "Scan QR code."
Scan the QR code displayed on the Kucoin website.

Step 4: Set Up Recovery Code

After scanning the QR code, write down the 10-digit backup code provided on the Kucoin website. This code will allow you to recover your account if you lose access to your device.

Step 5: Enter Code

Google Authenticator will generate a 6-digit verification code every 30 seconds.
Enter the current 6-digit code into the "Code" field on the Kucoin website.

Step 6: Enable 2FA

Click on the "Enable Google Authenticator" button.
Enter your Kucoin account password to confirm the action.

Step 7: Verify

You will be prompted to enter the Google Authenticator verification code again. Enter the current 6-digit code.
Once verified, 2FA will be enabled for your Kucoin account.
